Sue Cotton - Equine and Animal Artist

Sue

Sue was born in Bolton and attended a one year foundation course at the town's school of art. She has always had a love of animals, especially horses, and combines that with her other love of drawing and painting.

Recently Sue has begun to needle felt sculptures and paintings of realistic animals using wool. Check out the CottonsWoolies page for examples.

She is an Associate Member of the Society of Equestrian Artists (SEA) and has exhibited at the Mall Galleries, London and in Tadcaster with them. She has exhibited with the SEA North West Group, the Obsidian Gallery, Buckinghamshire and also with the National Exhibition of Wildlife Artists (NEWA) and AnimalEarth in Cheshire

She is a member and former trustee of The Association of Animal Artists.

Her work features in many private collections throughout the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

The vast majority of her work is made up from commissions and the galleries featured on this website are mainly of this type.
